Information we collect
If you ask Theatre Spark to contact you and/or if you enrol on one of Theatre Spark’s performing arts tuition, class or workshop sessions, you will be asked to provide your contact details which may include any or all of the following: full name, postcode, child age (if the participant is under 18 years old), telephone number, email and/or mailing address. Participating individuals (including children) may be photographed whilst taking part in Theatre Spark classes, activities and events and the images (still and moving) used to promote the work of Theatre Spark or for reporting or funding purposes through publication in print, on social media, or on a website.Go to https:/theatrespark.org and follow the internal weblinks to read our Privacy & Data Protection Policy.
Medical information
It is essential that all participants complete a medical form and declare any health condition or allergy which might be relevant in an emergency.We also ask for an emergency contact name/number.This information is never shared outside of our organisation except with health professionals in a medical emergency and in an individual’s best interests.
Data Protection and Access rights
You have the right to access the personal data that is held about you by Theatre Spark and request that the information be added to, modified or deleted. You have the right to ask Theatre Spark to stop communicating with you or alter the frequency and manner in which communications are made. The length of time we keep your information
When you provide this information to us you are giving Theatre Spark permission to hold the information for a period of 24 months from the date you provide it.After that time, you will be offered the opportunity to re-register.
To the best of our understanding, Theatre Spark’s Privacy Policy reflects the requirements of the UK Data Protection Act (1998) and GDPR.
